James Rebello
On the seventh day, the 6th month, in the year 1966, James Rebello was born. James bought his first guitar and microphone in 1978. Listening to bands like Black Sabbath, Kiss, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, etc, he soon started playing in basement bands and writing his own songs. In the early 1980's, James put together an original metal band called "Crystal Fogg". A few years later this power trio mixed the sounds of his early influences with the new sounds of "Ozzy", "Dokken", "Ratt", and "Motley Crue". Soon the band would be playing before national acts like "Hanoi Rocks", "Kix", and "Poison". Since the band was not signed by a major record company, James recorded and distributed the music himself. Now with the power of the internet, James is remixing the songs and putting them on CD. Soon they will be for sale!
The Ozzy part of it all came from people telling James that he sounded like the "Madman" himself. He started a band called "Blizzard of Ozz". This is where James and bassist Elliot Fox first crossed paths. After a year or so of kicking out the tribute songs, guitarist Dave Bates moved to L.A. to pursue his musical career. James decided to go back to his original music when all of a sudden garage bands from Seattle started getting signed and metal was losing the grip. Not willing to jump on the grunge junk wagon, James decided to take a break. Six years later, in the later part of 2000, ..... you know the rest!
