What is a Sitemap?
A sitemap or site map is a list of pages of a web site accessible to crawlers or users typically organized in hierarchical fashion. This helps visitors and search engine bots find pages on the website. There are 2 different kinds available:
XML Sitemap - Accessible to crawlers. First we crawl your website finding all of its pages and create an XML Sitemap. Then we submit your Sitemap directly to the XML interface of major search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, and Bing.
HTML Sitemap - Accessible to web users. This is simply a list of all your pages on your website, similar to a directory. See ours here: Sitemap
Why do I need a Sitemap?
The search engines use your sitemaps to drive more qualified traffic to your site by indexing more pages in search results with improved page ranking.
