Join Me To Fundraise for Cystic Fibrosis
Hey guys, I hope you’ll join me on May 21 in Huntington Beach! Me and a few thousand of my closest friends (haha) will be walking in a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
I’m looking for 100 people to join my team, and about 60 of you have already signed up (yay!). Some other people from the “Friday” video will be there, too – so we’ll all get to hang out together, and it will be a lot of fun and for a good cause!
And I promised everyone that if we raise $5000 for the charity, I will do the Awkward Dance at the finish line… it will be lots of fun! My name is Benni Cinkle, and I’m a 13-year old eighth grader in Southern California. My life changed on March 4th, when my friend Rebecca’s music video, “Friday”, went viral. I am that girl in pink who sits to the right of her in the nighttime scene. Ever since then, I’ve been talking to people all over the world! I’m a vegetarian, and I have been since July 5th, 2010. I am in love with Justin Bieber. Music and art are two things I couldn’t live my life without; I love to paint, sing, and play guitar. I’m still taking lessons to improve on my guitar skills, though. The one thing I never took a lesson in was dancing, which, ironically, was the thing that got me noticed in the “Friday” video. There were many people saying mean things, but there were also thousands supporting me. I decided to focus on the good things, and make the whole dancing thing a joke. I laughed through it all, because in the end, life is much more fun when you’re smiling.(:
